Hey everyone, I'm experiencing some performance issues with the GeoLayers 3 plugin in After Effects, despite allocating 26GB of RAM to AE on my Lenovo ThinkPad T480. Unfortunately, I'm still getting lag when working with GeoLayers, making it challenging to animate even simple maps. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Would love to hear your solutions or workarounds! Maybe the Boone can also provide some optimization tips? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the video. Strangely, Russia now controls part of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine and much more of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions than is shown on the map as “disputed territories.” Russia annexed them in 2022 and now they are written in the Constitution as administrative regions. That means if everything is "marked as it is at the moment", as you say, there should be much more “disputed territories”. It seems as if the developers want to avoid using the data, but also to please Ukrainians and not to irritate Russians too much. Strange principles.

Loving it.❤❤ Sir, I was trying to animate two river line "yellow" and "Yangtze" located in "China" with trim path. Unfortunately those river are not in a single line. Why is it that when I click draw arrow, the composition automatically jumps to another mapcomp (which isn't the containing mapcomp) and forces me to draw the arrow there? Once it's drawn it doesn't show up at all in the containing mapcomp... how frustrating.

The author of the video needs to learn to explain what to do and how to do it, and show everything in more detail. I am new to AE and for me this video is not clear, what is where, how ? In general, a waste of time

Please make videos on vc orb + geolayers. I would be so so grateful if you did that. Especially the fact that how can we use the orb project as its very different to how we normally use geolayers
